     Press the trip odometer button on the gauge cluster assembly and hold the button down with the vehicle off.

     Turn the ignition key to the "on" position, but do not crank the engine while holding down the trip odometer reset button.

     Wait for the lines on the display screen to fade out. There will be five lines on the trip odometer display when you turn the ignition on. They will disappear one by one. When the last one disappears, the "service engine" light will reset.
