How to Reset a Toyota

Resetting the Toyota is easy when you follow the right procedure.

Toyota is known for manufacturing compact and affordable four-door sedans that are reliable yet easy to repair. The Toyota's Super Monitor screen is found on the vehicle's dashboard. Once the Super Monitor screen displays "Check Engine Oil," it is a notification that your Toyota may need servicing. It is fairly easy to reset your Toyota and it can be done by following the right procedure.

     Park the Toyota on level ground and turn on the ignition.

     Press the "Select A" button, found under the Super Monitor screen. Wait for the screen to read "Check Engine Oil."

     Press the "Set B" button, found under the Super Monitor screen. Wait for the screen to read "OK." Turn off the ignition.
